NAMM2016BY: IAN MACDONALDFor those of you who don't know, NAMM is an acronym that originally stood for the National Association of Music Merchants, but has evolved from a national entity representing the interests of music product retailers to an international associa- tion including both commercial, retail members and affiliates. Therefore,thelongformofthenameis no longer used, and it is simply known as NAMM. Founded in 1901,The NAMM Show is one of the largest music product trade shows in the world, its only major competition beingtheMusikMesseinFrankfurt,Germany. The NAMM show is held every January in Anaheim.This year we were honored and humbled to bethe only media outlet that filmed BashFest from backstage. This was a three night multi-event that paid tribute to John Bonham, Neil Peart and Randy Rhoads, respectively.
