Some of them are fun and they’re good for writing music, ideas, beats etc., but I’m not too crazy about them when it comes to getting serious work done.EZTrigger - is an app that turns your iOS device into a single-channel drum module, allowing you to trigger a high definition bass drum sample from an acoustic kit in real time.I was very skeptical about it until I downloaded it and started experimenting with it. Smart and user friendly screen layout catches my attention as soon as I open the app. As I get into the settings menu there are many pleasant surprises, aside from the library of samples that features over 30 high quality bass drum samples. I experiment with the sensitivity settings and the drum tuning for each of the samples. Time to plug it all in and try it on a kit! I find it quick and super-easy to use. Just plug a standard drum trigger into the phone through a guitar interface such as IK Multimedias iRig 2 and run it through your P.A as you would do with your regular trigger module. Switch your phone to an Airplane Mode and you are ready to go.44
