The samples are definitely high quality and ranging from Metal/Rock to many other styles. After you find the sample that you like, you have the option to tune it and save your modified sample. I have to say that after playing with it for some time in my studio, I find that EZTrigger is more than an app, it is actually a very useful, convenient and easy to use tool for drummers.The sensitivity option allows you to play any style from heavy hitting swivel or traditional heel up, to lighter heel down and double strokes techniques. The tuning option allows you to pick any sample and make it cut through a loud live mix. I guess all apps are not created equal after all. I will definitely try it at a live gig next week.Ps.
