Absolutely. In this day and age in the music business you have to tour to survive. We willfocus most of our attention on Europe at the endof the year and hopefully be able to land a great tour stateside sometime this year. We’ve got an awesome management company with Northern Music (Opeth, Paradise Lost, Katatonia) and are looking to find someone comparable here. Only time will tell.SDM: What kind kit and gear are you currently using?I play a Custom Drum Concepts Maple kit that is name Amber Aetherial. Very small setup with a 10” rack, 20” bass drum, 14” and 16” floor toms. I may expand to two bass drums soon, but I’m still trying to talk myself into the extra trouble. Cymbals areall Sabians; 13” AXplosion hats, 19” AAX china, 19” HHX crash, 22” paragon china, 19” holy china, and 18” AAX crash. For auxiliary stuff I have a 22” omni I sub for a left hand crash/accent ride, a 22” xs I use for really low drum and bass/electronic stuff, and a few other little stackables. Sticks are VicFirth X55B wood tips and heads are all Evans. Demon Drive pedals and Eliminator Hi-hat pedal.SDM: What are your latest acquisitions to your kit, and is there anything you have had your eye on that you would like to acquire in the near future?The most recent thing I’ve bought was a Roland SPD-SX for electronic stuff and I also trigger my bass drum from it. Rock solid and mostly flawless triggering of a single bass drum with the 10K trigger. As for new stuff, I don’t really know of any thing. The Sabian snare ring is something I’d liketo play with some. I don’t really go wild for gear though. More concentrated on playing and working around that shit.
