 I was born on October 5th 1980 in Switzerland. My interest in drums started through my grandfather who was a drummer and pianist. I started taking drum lessons at the age of eleven with Dominick Paoloni. He also showed me the long road I would have to travel to become a good drummer. From 1995 to 1999 I studied classical percussions and double bass at the Music Conservatory in Neuchatel, taking classes with the respected Laurent Decennick and Marc-Antoine Bonnanomi. From 1997 till 1999 I have also been attending drumming courses at the EJMA school in Lausanne with François Bauer and Marcel Papaux. I founded my own Music School with my colleague Cyril Spischer in 1998.
