Cameron Losch

My first instrument I learned to play was piano. After taking lessons for a few years I became bored with it and wanted to try something new. When I was 10 years old my uncle gave me an old pearl drum kit from the 80's. I started taking drum lessons but stopped going after a couple of years, although I still played drums all the time. In 6th grade I started a punk rock band and have been in a band ever since. As I grew older I became more interested in metal, mainly because I enjoyed how the drums sounded. When I was in 8th grade I taught myself to play guitar and began recording songs in my basement and have been doing so ever since.

While I was in highschool my band began doing a lot of local shows at VFW halls and places like that. It was my senior year of highschool when Sumerian records contacted us and we signed a record contract with them. During spring break of that same year I flew to California to record our first album (the New Reign). I always knew music was going to be my life, I just didn't think I would start touring in a band a few days after graduating High School.

I agree with the previous post. I listen to numerous bands with many different musical styles and in 10 years this is by far the best heavy metal drummer (most techical and disturbingly fast).
