ArcOndA born in 1982,he began to love the instrument while watching his cousin play. His technical education is self-taught.
His first performances took place in school reviews,changing from rock to black metal genre. In 2003 he founded the black metal/brutal death band Ancient Skin with hellyas and :D1821:. Through this project came the first satisfaction in studio.

In 2004 he realized the first demo cd "Dawn of Night" with Ancient Skin In 2005 the first full-length "Nobis Quoque Peccatoribus! under the label Arx Production in 2008 the Ancient Skin promo,from which you can see the stylistic turning point oriented brutal metal. In 2005 he joined like sessionist(live and studio) the black metal band Verbo Nero.

-Accabbadora (Raw black metal)with whom he recorded a CD
-Gang Band Rag (Duo jazz swing)

Arconda plays session drums in several sardinian bands and spends 5 hours a day studying drums. The ambition is to become one of the fastes drummers in the world...

SD.com: How old were you when you started playing?

ArcOndA: I started to play drums at the age of 10, imitating my cousin, he is also a drummer in an Iron Maiden cover band. But, my  serious first approach to the instrument comes in high school when I was 13.

SD.com: Did you play in a school band or any drum corps?

ArcOndA: I have never attend a drum corps because I live in a small village near Oristano (Sardinia) and here these opportunities do not exist! I joined in a school rock band in the high school, and at the secondary school level I played in a black metal band in school.

SD.com: Who are your top 5 influences?

ArcOndA: Surely Hellhammer, Mike Portnoy, Derek Roddy, G.Kollias and T.Waterson (about bass drum techniques).

SD.com: Assuming that influences doesn't mean favorites, who are your favorites?

ArcOndA: Mike Portnoy ,George Kollias, Thomas Lang (the king of drum) Virgil Donati , Furio Chirico and Marco Pitruzzella (Speed Drummer).

SD.com: Let us know 5 CD's that are in your current rotation

ArcOndA: Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time to listen to music, lately I listen:

- Nile - In their darkened shrines ;
- Mayhem - Grand declaration of war;
- Origin- Antithesis (Top album 2008!!!!);
- Vital Remains - Dechristianize;
- Hate Eternal - I Monarch.

SD.com: What do you do to warm up before a show?

ArcOndA: 10 minutes of running and 10 minutes of stretching too.2 or 3 beers and many many many cigarettes!!

SD.com: Can you remember a night you think was your best playing ever? If yes, when and where?

ArcOndA: At every show, I play to the give the best of me but I'm not really satisfied. However in my last shows with Ancient Skin and Verbo Nero I had a lot of fun!

SD.com: Do you have a favorite brand of drums or cymbals?

ArcOndA: My favorite brands are TAMA, DW and SONOR. They are fantastic, for the sound and for the aesthetics. While my favorites cymbal brands are SABIAN HHX and UFIP CLASS and BIONIC series.

SD.com: If you could give one piece of advice to young drummers, it would be...

ArcOndA: My advice is to dedicate oneself to the instrument at a young age, seek advice of a teacher for the knowlegde of basic techniques. Practice, Practice, Practice, and study music as much as possible. Also don't forget to have fun playing drums! Practice every day more and more by ourselves. I'm a self-taught person,(excluding the first lesson at the high school level),nowadays i play 5 hours a day!

SD.com: Who gave the best live performance you've ever seen?

ArcOndA: Dimmu Borgir with Nicholas Barker in Milan (2003) and Dream Theater in Rome (2005)..Portnoy is really powerfull and perfect at live like in a studio!

SD.com: If you had to stop drumming, what would you want to do with your life?

ArcOndA: That would be a nightmare! Drumming is a part of me. consequently ArcOndA would not exist .
