I've been playing drums for 7 years. I always was interested in music and my father played the drums, so I picked up where he left off. Like every other beggning drummer, I wanted to play really fast as soon as I got my first kit. I soon came to realize, that wasn't going to happen and it takes time and practice to obtain skill. The first metal bands I was really into were Metallica and Megadeth. I was really influenced by them, and Slayer as well. My first kit was a Rockwood by Honor. it was a real piece, but it did the job as a begginer kit. I've never had the opportunity to take drum lessons. I really fell in love with Dimmu borgir, and the death/black metal style of drumming. I currently play drums in The Partisan Turbine.  Â
