Keep up with Guyom here: www.myspace.com/guyom_goryptic  Â
My first contact with music was in 1995 when I started playing guitar. Then I discovered drums in 1998, I was 16. Six months later, I joined a band called HERESY as drummer and jammed a little with them. I’d never taken lessons so I learned by playing with them. It was a kind of death metal in the old school way. Things become more serious in 2001 when we played some gigs. In 2002, we released a split CD with another French band (Trepan’dead), then in 2004 a MCD entitled Psychotic Carnage. In 2005, we decided to stop and set up GORYPTIC, more brutal death. We released a promo CD and worked on new stuff during 2006 in order to release our first full length in the beginning of 2007. With HERESY and GORYPTIC, I got the chance to play in France and Europe and to share the stage with bands like Spawn of Possession, Disgorge (Mex), Despondency, Sanatorium and so on.+  ** WARNING - This video contains graphic footage! you've been warned!
