SD.com: Who are your top 5 influences?

Robbie: Derek Roddy, Kevin Talley, Tim Yeung, John Longstreth, and that drummer from the Conan O'brian Show.

SD.com: Assuming that influences doesn't mean favorites, who are your favorites?

Robbie: Derek  "one take"  Roddy has to be my favorite. He's one of the smoothest death drummers out there.

SD.com: Let us know 5 CD's that are in your current rotation

Robbie: Devourment "Butcher the Weak", Spawn of Possession's "Noctambulant", the new Suffocation, Skinless's "Trample the weak" and Hate Eternal's " I. Monarh.

SD.com: Can you remember a night you think was your best playing ever? If yes, when and where?

Robbie: A recent show in Orlando Fl. with Origin. I was so pumped for that show that I played pretty good. Fast, but good.

SD.com: Do you have a favorite brand of drums or cymbals?

Robbie: I play Tama drums, Iron Cobra Pedals, and Sabian and Zildjian cymbals. I would like some Axis Longboards. I won the 2002 Worlds Fastest Drummer at Warp Tour in Orlando Fl, on the Axis longboards at 800 bpm. So I'd say those are optimum for speed.

SD.com: Do you have any pre-show rituals?

Robbie: I do the Derek Roddy workout and stretch alot. I also need a couple beers in me to get the edge off.

SD.com: If you could give one piece of advice to young drummers, it would be...

Robbie: Practice! When you aren't practicing, that means there is someone else out there that is.

SD.com: Who gave the best live performance you've ever seen?

Robbie: Richard Christy when I saw him play with Burning Inside. It was a great show.

SD.com: If you had to stop drumming, what would you want to do with your life?

Robbie: Finish my Electrician Apprenticeship and enjoy growing old with my Daughter Layla and my beautiful girlfriend Amber. (and keep collecting metal disc's)
