This is my 3rd drum solo on...well, drums. Yesterday was the birthday of my favorite black metal drummer, Jan Axel Blomberg, otherwise known to all of us Mayhem fans as Hellhammer. His playing on De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas helped inspire me to learn black metal drumming on a large scale. Happy birthday, metal master. I decided to experiment a little bit. In this solo is A LOT of skank beats, blast beats, some off time stuff on the china, and a little jazzy part near the end. More black metal is to come, including one on my birthday which also happens to correspond to the year that a very important event in black metal happened. Try to guess.
