This is me doing Juular by The Devin Townsend Project on drums.
This is the second video of mine to include a foot cam. The first was a cover of Blackened by Metallica that I deleted back in November. The foot cam is probably gonna become a regular thing from now on. Hopefully once I get my Zoom I'll be able to use the Vado as the foot cam so I can record both me and my feet at the same time. In terms of the song, I switch a few things up, particularly alternating between the way the two drummers play the main beat; Dirk Verbeuren plays it as one long triplet double bass roll, while Ryan Van Poederooyen plays it as a double bass flam in between snare hits. RVP's way is actually much hard than Dirk's, as it requires a bit more coordination to not completely fuck up the kick pattern.
Check me out on sickdrummermagazine.com. I write the bi-weekly "Subrick's Picks". The link can be found at the top of the description.
Watch, like, comment, and subscribe so we might actually get some snow for Christmas.
Thanks for watching and happy holidays!
