Origin‘s brand new album, Antithesis, has landed at #21 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart based on first-week sales of over 2,000 records sold. Origin has also announced May U.S. tour dates in support of Antithesis. Origin will team-up with Dying Fetus and Sworn Enemy on May 9th for two-weeks of Eastern U.S. dates. Immediately following, Origin will embark on a European headlining tour with support from Impaled and Hour of Penance. A complete listing of Origin tour dates can be found below with more to be announced shortly. Antithesis brings what is widely considered to be the band’s strongest line-up back together (Paul Ryan – guitars / vocals, Jeremy Turner – guitars / vocals, James Lee – vocals, Mike Flores – bass / vocals, and John Longstreth – drums) since the band’s Informis Infinitas Inhumanitas album. ORIGN has also recently lensed a video for the track “Finite” with director David Brodsky for MyGoodEye. The video is expected to see its premiere imminently.
