Origin will shoot the first video for their brand new album, Antithesis, this weekend in Brooklyn, NY. The video for Antithesis track "Finite" will be lensed by David Brodsky for MyGoodEye. Origin will release Antithesis, the follow up to 2005's Echoes of Decimation, on April 1st (April 7th internationally). Antithesis was engineered by Rob Rebeck at Chapman Studios, and mastered by Scott Hull at Visceral Sound. Antithesis also brings together what is widely considered to be the band's strongest line-up back together (Paul Ryan - guitars / vocals, Jeremy Turner - guitars / vocals, James Lee - vocals, Mike Flores - bass / vocals, and John Longstreth - drums) since the band's Informis Infinitas Inhumanitas album. Origin has recently posted the first preview track from Antithesis, for album opener "The Aftermath", on the band's official MySpace: MySpace.com/Origin666 http://www.myspace.com/Origin666 Origin will embark on a European headlining tour at the end of May with support from Impaled and Hour of Penance. Additionally, Origin have been confirmed as one of the headliner's at this year's Central Illinois Metalfest in July. A listing of Origin tour dates can be found below with more to be announced shortly. May 30 Protzen, Germany Protzen Open Air |
