South Carolina's THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, with first week sales of 3,400 of the band's latest effort, Malice, have landed at 9 on Billboard's Heatseeker Chart. The first album with new frontman Nate Johnson (ex-Premonitions of War), Malice was recorded earlier this year with producer Erik Rutan (Cannibal Corpse, Goatwhore) in Florida.
Since its release, a video for "Failure In The Flesh" has been made available here, with an additional song, "As Good As Dead" available at the band's MySpace page. Currently headlining dates across the US alongside As Blood Runs Black, labelmates Beneath The Massacre and Ion Dissonance, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD will head back out this fall as support to As I Lay Dying, labelmates All That Remains and Haste The Day.
