Car Bomb's new album "w^w^^w^w" - will be out September 25th on Relapse Records and is sure to please old fans, new fans and especially all you drummers ourt there. An update from Elliot Hoffman of Car bomb: This Last Minute Gojira/Car Bomb tour arose as a result of Randy from L.O.G's incarceration and the cancellation of the Dethlok/LOG/Gojira tour. Gojira Booked small club dates between their existing festival dates in Canada and KnotFest in WI. We were Honored to share the stage with them again on this short run! Check out the list below of my new live setup for these shows.
I also have started Micing and mixing my own drums live. This is my first time doing it with great results! I was sending the FOH one stereo feed of all toms and cymbals and a separate mono DI for the kik trigger. This allowed me to have a consistent mix at all the shows and create my own in-ear mix. I also started using a Pearl Buttkicker on the throne to make up for the lack of a drum monitor.
