Adam Jarvis Talks About Joining Pig Destroyer!

Now that the news is out to the metal masses, YES I AM IN PIG DESTROYER! We were going to hold off until later this month for an official press release from Relapse (which will still happen), but we're all to pumped on the new material and everything that's happening. 

I started jamming with the band back in April this year and at this point we have 13 new songs for the next album, and a pretty sick live set ready for the shows in September.

YES I am still in Misery Index! PxDx as you may or may not know, rarely tour and shows are pretty spread out.  That being said PxDx won't conflict with the MI touring schedule. 

Super stoked on this opportunity to jam with Scott, J.R. and Blake and looking forward to  the good times ahead! Be ready for a GRIND YOUR FACE OFF release in 2012 via Relapse Records!

I know Adam Jarvis is a sick drummer and I think it will make Pig Destroyer`s sound even more menacing,that being said Adam Jarvis has some seriously big shoes to fill>Brian Harvey was one of those very rare drummers that could blast and mutilate his drum-set to mere ashes,then suddenly switchover to some catchy grooves with tons of frills while adding insanely weird structures for Scott and Hayes to build on.I am very sad he left my favorite band and I don`t know why,but I`m happy he is replaced by Jarvis.Good luck man.

That's pretty awesome! The old drummer was a great grind drummer but when you take a sick death drummer and put him in a grind situation it makes the chaos and aggression even more precise. I'd love to see kollias or lucas take on a side project like that...has any body heard lucas' first band's grind demo? it's very good drumming actually! he's always been talented. the guitar work and the rest of the band is kind of meh...can't remember the name.
