New York progressive extreme metal outfit Car Bomb has announced a three-week tour supporting Gojira. This May tour will kick-off in Springfield, VA and also include The Chariot. A listing of confirmed tour dates and cites can be found below with more details to be announced soon.
Car bomb bassist Jon Modell commented on the tour; “We’re ECSTATIC to be heading out on the road with Gojira. When I met Joe Duplantier in Arizona 2 years ago for the Cavalera Conspiracy show, and subsequently saw him at our hotel for breakfast the next morning, I was amazed to find out he was really into Car Bomb. We spoke for about an hour about music and life and I believe he said to me that ‘the music Car Bomb plays is the music he hears in his head’ – WOW!! It is an honor and a privilege to have been selected to support Gojira on this tour. We have a bunch of new material we will be debuting and our show is crazier than ever.” Car bomb are touring in support of their Relapse debut Centralia. In-between touring, the band has been writing for Centralia’s follow-up and expect to hit the studio later this year.
