Acacia Strain Video Teasers
Tuesday, 28 October 2008 10:59
The Acacia Strain have issued a pair of brief video teasers online for the forthcoming “Skynet” video, available here (part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2IDgDYK_18 ) and here (part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDMRrWKkAvA ). The third teaser will be available later this week, with the unveiling of the completed video expected shortly.

Helmed by director David Brodsky (The Black Dahlia Murder, Unearth, Through The Eyes of the Dead), who filmed The Acacia Strain’s last video for the track, “Angry Mob Justice” from 2006’s ‘The Dead Walk,’ The “Skynet” video is the lead track from the band newest album, ‘Continent,’ which made a debut at #2 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and appeared on the Billboard Top 200 after its August 19 release through Prosthetic Records. The Acacia Strain frontman Vincent Bennett recently caught up with Metal Mark prior to the band’s Atlanta performance while out on the road with Unearth, Protest The Hero, Whitechapel, and Gwen Stacy, and the footage can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNsO1a6SAgo . Upon completion of the current tour, The Acacia Strain will head to Canada for a handful of headlining dates alongside labelmates Through The Eyes of the Dead and See You Next Tuesday, before embarking in December for the band’s first appearances in both New Zealand and Australia
