New to this site but not new to double bass but having problems changing from just playing a 1 foot beat then doing a fill and going straight into double kick singles at speeds 200bpm+,im quite comfortable double kicking at about 220-230bpm but i seem to stutter a couple of notes when going from 1 to 2 feet,anyone understand what i mean and can help?cheers.

you could try playing slower until you become comfortable with the trasition from your fills into double bass

I think you should try to practice the transition in the first place...

Take a slow tempo like... lets say... 140-160 and do 3 measures of a groove(any groove) 1 measure of fill and then 3 measures of double bass groove 1 measure of fill...

another think you could try is just 2 measures of 1 kick groove changing to 2 bass groove... The importa thing is to pay atention in the "changes"... Try to pay a closer attention to that...
