LETS HEAR ABOUT SOME FAVORITE HARDCORE BANDS, I KNOW THIS IS A ROUGH TOPIC FOR SOME PEOPLE SINCE SOME THINK HARDCORE IS TO CLOSE TO EMO OR JUST ISN'T AS BRUTAL AS DEATH OR GRIND, I BEG TO DIFFER. IF THERE ISN'T ONE SONG FROM ONE OF THESE BANDS THAT DOESN'T MAKE YOU WANT TO RAISE UP YOUR ELBOWS AND START A PIT AND SHOUT AGGRESSIVE OBSCENITIES, WELL THEN I GUESS I WAS WRONG. I KNOW I'M NOT, LETS GIVE HARDCORE IT'S DUES.

old bury your dead is cool
i personally think the acacia strain is like a reinvention of the old bury your dead style, but then taking it to the next level
judge is one of the ultimate old school bands
hoods is pretty neat.
full blown chaos put on a crazy show down here...we opened up for them, and when they played...fuckin chairs and trash cans were flying everywhere....the whole room was a warzone.

Black Flag, Bad Brains, Slapshot, Agnostic Front, Madball are ones that come to mind as far as HARDCORE bands i'm into.

Not really keen on these new bands calling themselves "hardcore" since they musically have no connection to punk at all.

Lions For Lambs is a pretty sick band I just recently discovered, they are more metal then hardcore.
