Anyone heard of these guys?
I bought their first album to use as a reference mix for this genre and for some good driving music, but it really grew on me since its so catchy. When their second album came out, it really caught me by surprise: These guys are some serious musicians who know what they're doing (great vocalist & guitar tones too!). Great sense of rhythm, dynamics, melodies, contrast, and composition in a genre where its tricky and potentially risky to have any of that. Great production on both albums as well - that's what initially drew me to it. I've never really been a hardcore fan, and yeah some of their lyrics get a bit cheesy at times, but both of their albums have been in my iTunes and my car's CD player since i first checked them out. Just thought they deserve some recognition on here.
