Hi
I was wondering if someone could advise me... I need a metronome that marks the beat with a bright flashing light. Not a little LED kind of light, I mean something that produces a bright flash.
Using Google so far hasn't turned up anything useful. Does anyone know of such a product?
The problem with the kind of tiny bulb on most metronomes is that you have to be looking directly at them.
I won't bore you with why I need this (to be honest I'm a little bored of trying to explain what I need to people in music shops, only for them to tell me that I don't really need such a thing, I actually want so-and-so other thing they happen to have in stock!) Suffice to say, an audible signal is no good, and neither is the kind of light you get on a standard metronome -I need a bright visual cue.
I was thinking of somehow using my laptop, but that would definately be a plan B.
I rememeber some guy at school (years ago now) was playing chello to a metronome that was silent but emitted a bright flash -so I know they exist!
Any ideas welcome
