Metronome solutions. 2 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
I've been trying to find a good metronome solution for doing things in songs like tempo changes, and time signature changes. I've been thinking about picking up a Tama Rhythm watch, because I've heard a lot of great things about it. I didn't know if I could do something though like switch from 4/4 to 6/4 for a measure, at a certain point during using a regular metronome. I know I can just use a metronome and turn off the downbeat accent, but I'm not sure if this is the most elegant way to handle things. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey man, il be hønest and say that Ive never heard øf this Tama Watch but it søunds quite interesting. What I persønally dø tø sølve the tempø-change-dillema is pre-recørd the metrønøme før each søng øn a disk. Sø Ill sit døwn with the guitarist and write døwn høw løng each tempø gøes øn før beføre it changes, then Ill set the speeds øn my cømputer with simple music/metrønøme prøgrams. This way yøu can either listen tø it while yøu play withøut having tø manually change the BPM ør play it øn a simple CD player ør thrøugh amps sø that the entire band can play tø it.
Høpe this helps brø, its a bit øf a missiøns but definetly helps.
