Due to personal differences, commitment issues, and drug and money problems,New York City based band "Humanity Falls" has parted ways with our drummer. We must keep the show going so we are currently looking for a replacement. We are working on our first full length and planning a mini-tour so we need a drummer fast.
We're seeking a drummer that can play and write in many different genres. Don't get us wrong, this is a Death Metal band but we all are influences by artists in and outside of Death Metal community. Influences include but not limited to: Gorguts, Morbid Angel, Immolation, Gigan, Mithras, Cynic, Hate Eternal, Coprofago, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Primus, Enigma, etc.
In terms of playing and techniques, we need someone who can do it all: blasts, gravities, double bass (duh), ghost notes, off time patterns, and most importantly must able groove and flow. The ability to improvise is MUST since there are small bursts of improvisation in our music. Pro gig-ready gear and transportation is a MUST!!!! No gear/transportation, no deal. NO EGO AND/OR HARD DRUGS!!!!!!!! we smoke, drink, and love to have fun but we are not going to deal with another egotistical junkie behind the drum set!
