it is with a heavy heart that josh has decided to leave TLM. There is no bad blood and his reasons are his own that keep him from committing full time to TLM so instead of standing in our way,hes stepping down. we wish him all the best of luck in the future. he will be playing all the confirmed dates we have through august. so august 27th in Va Beach will be his last show with the TLM camp.
we are not, i repeat NOT, breaking up. we will continue on and hopefully find a drummer just as sick as josh was. until then we will be doing recording with session musicians and maybe a show or two with a fill in drummer. we will be auditioning new drummers starting now til a suitable one is found. we do have some requirements that we are looking for:
-Must be at least 18
- Must be an experienced player with the ability to play blast-beats and maintain strong and consistent double kick, but we are also open to someone fast with a single kick. we are open to drummers of other styles and skills but please understand that the foundation of the band is metal.
-Must be passionate and committed to playing shows,touring and recording.
-you don't have to be the best drummer in the world,we want someone who's very passionate and driven to play music
-No heavy drug users or alcoholics, if you like to have a beer or two and/or 420 friendly, that's fine.
-Must have a job or some flow of money to contribute in cost of practice space,recording and merchandise
-Must be able to take and give criticism. we will tell you if you play something that isn't up to par so we expect the same from you.
-Must be able to practice at least once a week,we generally practice twice a week though. we prefer someone in Richmond but if you live somewhere else in the state,we are willing to make something work.
-Our influences include but are not limited to: dead infection,kill the client,phobia,circle of dead children,today is the day and others.
