Hey all. A flash of inspiration led me to believe that perhaps I would have more success finding a drummer if I came looking for one on a
drummer's forum. Imagine that!
Interestingly, drums are my first and favorite instrument, but for the project I'm working on I simply can't see myself behind a drum kit. I wish it could be so, but something about it doesn't make sense. Since taking a front seat in the creation of the music I feel impelled to take a front seat in its presentation. Hopefully this turns out more like it did for Dave Grohl and not, say, Tommy Lee...
I represent yet another one man metal project trying to become a flesh and blood band. Though such acts are innumerable on the internet I hope to distance myself from the crowd by working hard on making music that is slightly above garage quality. Also, despite my broad appreciation of heavy metal and its many sub-genres, I hope that my decidedly un-djenty approach to metal is refreshing to at least one like minded person.
In order to progress to the next stage I need to meet a drummer who has the chops and who is on the same page as me musically. Someone who feels similarly about the way drums should best be used for the style of music that is being performed. I think this can only come about through jamming, sharing work, or maybe citing some specific influences. Whatever it takes. For me it is easiest to share my own music, since this is exactly what I'm trying to build a band around.
Enough rambling, here it is. Thanks!

By the way, even if you don't feel interested in getting involved, feedback is always welcome!
