Cursed Eternity is reforming and is looking for a talented Speed Metal drummer. We have a myriad influences ranging from black metal to power metal; Bands like Blind Guardian, Savatage, Dark Tranquillity, Death, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Emperor, Sentenced, Ensiferum… just to name a small few. Our sound requires a drummer who has the speed and aggression of a death or black metal drummer with the control and feel of a good hard rock drummer.
What you need to bring to the table:
- Mid to Pro level drum kit. Something that can be tuned and sound good live and recorded. Not looking to trigger everything in the studio so a good full drum sound is a must. If you don’t have it now but have the talent, we can work on getting the kit up to par.
- Most songs are in the upper 180 – 200 BPM and heavy double bass and blast beats are used. We are looking for someone who can play well off tight rhythms and has an open mind musically.
- Ability to practice and play to a click (tempo) track live and recorded.
- Flexible schedule for shows; we can work rehearsals around outside schedules.
- Aggressive attitude towards pushing the Cursed Eternity product to potential fans.
- Age isn’t a big deal, if you can’t balance your marriage, school, work, ect, around a band; then this isn’t for you.
Cursed Eternity has been in and out of the Michigan scene for a long time. I would like to try and pick up where we left off and push it even farther! Demos are being made as we speak and the last EP is sold out, let’s take it to the next level.
