enquiring about trigger modules for brutal death M 2 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
HI i am looking for triggers and a trigger module that would be suitable for playing brutal death metal, i dont know very much about them and am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction? my preference is a module that lets me use my own sampled sounds. Really what im looking for is the next best thing to ddrum modules. Any ideas?

In the current issue of Sick Drummer Magazine there is a great article on triggers for DM, written by Dross of the L.A based Sothis. Just hit the home page of the site and choose "Issue 6" from the magazine menu.

The July issue will have an amazing column on sound modules! Dross tested the following modules, wrote about his results and even created a slick comparison chart: Alesis DM5, Roland TD-4, Roland TD-9, Yamaha DTXIII and the Roland TD-20.

It's very well put together... I'm sure you'll dig it.
