Hey, I have a Roland kick drum trigger, and baught an alesis DM5 mod.. but its not that great. Does anyone know of any modules that are well known, or ones that have good sounds?
I want my bass drum to sound like Jon rice's (JFAC) haha

It depends how much you want to spend? i think the DM5 is cool, I have a D4 (the older cheaper one) and there is 1 good kick sound on there, the rest suck. But, it works for me. I've heard the DM5 is the same way 1-2 good ones...
You could get a DM-pro or DDRUM4 and use custom samples uploaded onto a flash card. Or get some crazy expensive roland one. But, I like my D4.
