Not to be rude, but you might have wanted to learn about it, before you paid 200 for it...

• 12 stereo triggers (two with positional detection)

Yeah i know all those things, but my question was maybe not clear enough =)

what i meant was is the TD-10 compared to a DM5 for example, are the sounds good, is it userfriendly to a person like me who has no experience in triggering, and is it worth the money i paid for it or was i raped for my 200 bucks when i bought it? shortly is it a good thing to start with or should i get rid of it and buy another module?

Rock on!

I guess you'll have to wait and see how you like it. It's an older model, so the technology can't be as good as a new DM5, but it's a good starting point I suppose. I've never used it myself, but for the most part, I'm sure you'll find some sounds you like in any module. Use it for a while, then go to a newer mod and you'll be even happier with it...

I've seen people using TD-3s on stage (dying fetus). Is that one older than the 10? haha

Of course there are those that swear by the alesis D4 as well. I have a DM5 and a D4...can't say they really have THAT much of a difference.
