If you are like me you can't afford heads very often, so when you have dents in them, large or small. I use a trick my father, who is also a hard hitting drummer taught me, which you can take a lighter and slowly run it over the dents in your heads. Moving the lighter back and forth to melt the head just enough to flatten the dent out. Or if you're hardcore like "pops" and have a bunch of dents, turn on the stove eye and move the head back and forth face down. You just have to be tedious or else you will catch your house on fire. It is a trick for us poor folks in Tennessee.
