I don't typically go for the ridiculously heavy 'metal' branded cymbals like z customs, rudes etc, but i used to have the Sabian HH powerbell ride and really miss that enormous bell. Has anyone tried the new zildjian z3 series, specifically the megabell ride? I'm sure the idea of the z3's is to make a more musical sounding heavy metal/rock cymbal, but that's a difficult balance to achieve. I'd love to hear some opinions.
