I've got an 18" AAX and a 18" Z Custom. The AAX is real bright and has great sustain (its my main one). The Z is pretty dry and really cuts, I gave my old Wuhan to a friend of mine and he broke it within a week.

I dig the wuhans and i think they sound hella trashy but i just don't like the fact that i will keep breaking and cracking them. I much rather spend the money and then not worry about breaking.

I'd go with quality if you use a Cymbal spring or plenty of felts or just don't beat it to death it should last. I personally have never broken a cymbal, I just don't get it? I mean I don't play that lightly and I rarly break sticks too. Most of the time I end up getting new sticks only because they just end up looking like my dog chewed on them.
