Hi,
I am upgrading my kit, so wanted some suggestions regarding cymbals. Currently I have low grade Sabian Solar and Zildjian Planet Z. Obviously, I'm not very happy with them. I play Thrash/Death Metal., and as I have seen and heard Paiste Rude and Zildjian Z custom are good for metal. But I have never played them. I like bright and cutting sound, but at the same time I don't want my cymbals to be very heavy. A medium thickness crash/hi-hats would do for me. Whereas, the Ride can be heavy as it has to be. Can anyone please suggest me good cymbals according to my requirement?
My desired setup:
14" hi-hats
16" & 18" crashes
20" Ride
18" China
10" splash
