I had 3 sets of cymbals to choose from: mine, the studios and Sulacos. I ended up with zildjan cymbals all around: 12 hi hats, 17" and 18" crashes and a 22 ride. Id switch between a china and a 20 crash for the 3rd cymbal, depending on the tone of the song.
Drums: The kick drum, floor tom and single rack tom all belonged to the studio, some sort of old school wooden drums. Tama cask style wood piccolo snare, 14 . Brand new evans head. Pedals: Trick Pro 1-V double kick drum pedals go wherever I go.

Drummer Comments:
Practice the way you want to record for at least a month beforehand and then just relax in the studio. Make sure your studio engineer knows how to properly tune and record drums! Doug White at Watchmen was killer. I was able to relax and concentrate on playing and he made the drums sound great with no hassles and in a short amount of time. Hell yeah!
