Triggers/Microphones:

For mics we used a shure SM91 and a Beta 52 on the kicks. For each tom we used a Shure Beta56 and an AKG C418. For the snare we used Shure Beta 57 on the top, AKG C418 on the bottom. We mic'd cymbals using AKG C414.
 
I use Ddrum triggers on my kick drums, and an Alesis DM5 for the sample. My pedals also have built in triggers on them called E-kits, just in case.

Wing it!!!( Just Kidding) Just do whatever you got to do to get it done. Just be prepared!!
